The Polymath Conrad Gessner (1516-1565) as a Poet
This website is a non-profit project with the goal to provide information and resources on Conrad Gessner, the Zurich physician, natural philosopher, bibliographer, collector and polymath (1516-1565). We are focusing on exhibiting samples of his poems in Latin and Greek with new English translation that he published in books authored by his contemporaries. (Project start: October 2022)
